Walking tours here are above all in discovery of the region’s heritage, with guided visits to the UNESCO-listed town of Saint-Emilion and its vineyard, the underground monuments and monolithic church, the Château du Roy keep, the bell tower of the monolithic church, and – not to be missed! – the lantern-lit night-time visit to the town.

Saint-Emilion’s monolithic church is the largest underground church in Europe, and was hollowed out of a single block of stone. It has recently been restored and is moving testimony to the town’s earliest Christians and their place of worship.
