Zoom in on CAP33 – sports and leisure activities to discover and enjoy together as a family

Don’t know what sand-yachting is? Never tried your hand at diving or surfing?

All summer long, Gironde’s 20 CAP33 centres invite families and anyone over 15 years of age to discover and try their hand at a whole range of sports and leisure activities.

Four “CAP33 Juniors” are open to unaccompanied 8-14 year-olds – at Biganos , Grayan-et-l’Hôpital , Soulac-sur-mer (for 12-14 year-olds only)  and Vendays-Montalivet.

CAP 33 centres welcome over 140,000 holidaymakers every year, with a wide range of sports,  leisure, cultural and environmental activities on offer and open to all. Discovery activities are free of charge, and lessons and tournaments are organised at very low enrolment fees.

There are three formulas available :

- Discovery activities, free of charge with no enrolment required. They are organised throughout the week and provide participants with the opportunity to try their hand at traditional sports as well as boardsports and funsports.

- Mini-courses, a series of sessions introducing you to or helping you perfect your skills in a variety of disciplines.

- Tournaments, held in the afternoon or evening and a perfect combination of sport and conviviality.

Enrolments on site.

Responsibility
CAP33 events are covered by civil responsibility insurance taken out by the Commune or Community of Communes. In order to allow for any eventuality, however, it is advisable for participants to have complementary individual insurance of their own.
