The Best Of Wine Tourism
The 8 members of the Global Network of Great Wine Capitals (Bilbao-Rioja, Bordeaux, Cape Town, Florence, Melbourne, Mendoza, Porto and San Francisco-Napa Valley) annually present a selection of original and innovative vineyards. A jury of international experts examines the applications of each vineyard across seven categories: architecture, parks and gardens, art and culture, innovative experiences, accommodation, wine tourism services and sustainable wine tourism practices. The Global Network of Great Wine Capitals also seeks to develop cooperation programmes and to foster business, university and cultural exchanges between capitals.
