Fête de l’Agneau - Pauillac
A Médoc speciality, Pauillac lamb is reputed for its fine meat that it owes to the mother’s habit of grazing between the vine plants. Raised in sheep pens and slaughtered, unweaned, at no older than 75 days, Pauillac lamb was awarded the Label Rouge in 1999. All day long: presentations on grazing and transhumance, demonstration of sheep dogs at work and, naturally, tasting of Pauillac lamb.
